Directions to The Village at Maplewood

Rome
Traveling west on Turner McCall Blvd., exist right at M.L.K. Highway. Travel approximately 1-1/2 miles to the entrance of The Village at Maplewood on the right.

From Atlanta
Take Interstate 75 North to exit #290 (Rome/Canton), turn left and follow Hwy 20 west for five miles to the Rome exit (Hwy 20 West/411 South). Travel approximately 16 miles and turn right onto Junction 1 Loop (Berry By-Pass). Travel 2-1/2 miles and turn left on Hwy 293 North / Kinston Road. Travel approximately 1-1/2 miles to the entrance of The Village at Maplewood on the left.

From Chattanooga
Take either the Martha Berry Hwy U.S. 27 to Rome or Interstate 75 South to the Calhoun exit #312. Turn right and follow GA 53 west to Rome. Turn left on the Rome By-Pass (Loop 1). Travel approximately 2-3 miles turn right at the light on Hwy 293/Kinston Road. Travel approximately 1-1/2 miles to the entrance of The Village at Maplewood on the left.

Edwin C. Watters
With extensive experience in landscape architecture and the design and building fields, Ed established his own landscape company in 1993. He holds a Bachelor of Landscape architecture from the University of Georgia. Ed is active in local Rome civic groups such as the Rome Jaycees, Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce and Leadership Rome. He is a Board member for Darlington School, Nature Conservancy Marshal Forest and Rome & Floyd River Development. Ed’s ability to see the potential beauty in landscape architectural sites and then turn that vision into reality will result in perfect harmony among the grounds, the buildings and the people at the Village.

Jeff Brooks
Jeff is experienced in all aspects of construction Management, including project acquisition, project scheduling, subcontract and material purchasing, contract administration and project cost control. He holds a B.S. in Building Science and construction from Auburn University. His 20-year plus diverse background in construction has resulted in his being sought out for consulting and construction projects large and small, such as for the Rome Braves Stadium project. He can see the big picture and ensure the smallest detail fits into the overall program.
